Tips for Business Owners

First sign the petition, we know that there are businesses nationwide Tired of feeling helpless and wanting a resolve to just have Yelp play fair http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/stop-yelp-filter/

We are trying to consolidate the numbers and have many businesses that want to stop the REVIEWS from being used as leverage to advertise on the site. If you want to end this then signing the petition is the first step.

Now on to Step two: document your listing by screenshots get a free screen capture program or use the one built in to your O/S.

I will provide a how to link at the end of this posting. You should screen shot your Yelp Listing weekly, have someone post and screen shot it see does it display or get filtered? Call Yelp Advertisers or if they have called you make sure you have screen shot your before Yelp contact and then if you decline advertising screen shot your listing later that day and even check the next day. Weekly capture your listing and you will have amassed the documentation showing how Yelp is not a fair review site and how the pressure is put on businesses to pay for advertising. If you are paying for advertising and choose to stop make sure you document how your listing looks before and once you have ended paying advertising. This is important  to document all changes that have come to your Yelp business listing that appear non organic.

There is another class action lawsuit building and if you are a business owner wanting to get on board sign the petition and be on the look out for links to get involved.
